Description Kilimanjaro, situated south of the equator
in Tanzania at 19,340 feet (5895m) is Africa's
highest mountain and the highest 'free standing' mountain
in the world, where huge permanent glaciers flow down from the
summit. Spectacular views and beautiful ice formations are the
reward for the successful trekker, as well as the satisfaction
of 'topping out' this mighty peak of Africa. Climbing
Kilimanjaro is now one of the world's foremost adventure
challenges, with tens of thousands of travellers making their
ascent each year, popular trails can at times become busy and
slow, herein lies the appeal of the Umbwe route, which
is still relatively quiet compared to other trails. Our
professional guides and porters are highly experienced
(some have summited Kilimanjaro over 120 times!) and ensure
your trek is as safe as it is unforgettable, we also ensure
that our clients are provided with all the necessary facts
(e.g. medical lists, equipment lists) before they head off on
their adventure.
